IV. THE EMPEROR, VII. THE CHARIOT and SAINT GEORGE FOR APRIL
April brings the beautiful saint, St. George. Known as the holy defender and dragon-slayer of the Most High, to teach one to stand with courage, to move with purpose, to govern ones strength with wisdom, and to know that victory serves the light. How fitting to have such a reminder with strength, discipline and swift movement at ones fingertips. Besides, right about now, it just seems very appropriate with world events.
As far as the Major Arcana Tarot Cards to pair up with St. George, they are the Chariot VII and the Emperor IV. Once again the Emperor appears however this time around, he is in the supporting position of the month of April. The VII Chariot card is in harmony with St. George.
As I suggested last month, the best way to use this information is to take into consideration what each has to offer during this beautiful month of April. May it serve as a sacred mirror assisting you, being of service. May it serve as a reflection of you recognizing where you are, who and how you are evolving, becoming, and what inner and symbolic allies are available to assist you along this adventure referred to as life. Next month I will not post the blog like I have lately whereas be more timely. You know, actually at around the 1st - 3rd of the month. Those that know me realize and know my concept revolving around time. LOL
Now where was I, oh yes….The Saints do not call for imitation, rather more of honoring the integrity, devotion and loyalty to one’s own path. The Tarot does not demand prediction, however it does request your presence. Together, they offer a mirror in which the soul may recognize both its wounds and its radiance within a peaceful, safe, loving, non judgmental space. What the Tarot reveals as sacred law, and what the Saint reveals as a lived threshold, this coleletivey lends uplifting knowledge of transformation and spiritual evolution. Anything IS possible.
This is not dogma nor divination, however more rather a conscious of companionship with transformation with blending archetypal psychology (Tarot) with devotional, relational, and petitionary spirituality (Saints). Think less about prediction and more about alignment, transformation, and conscious evolution. This is a form of spiritual communication. This is meant as guidance with integrity, done from love and respect. Hence, approach this as if it were a meditation that yields newly found clarity being revealed through symbols and lived sanctity. It is a contemplation of the hidden order by which souls are transformed. Empowered. Evolved.
Again, this blog is meant to be approached as a way to navigate your path so you walk with grace and ease through the fu*kery. It is intended as a devotional avenue on a monthly level with a steady, reliable practical guide offering knowledge within daily life that is useful because spiritual work does not end when the candle goes out. It lingers, it settles, it asks to be tended to, much like the Saints themselves. It is lived from prayer, study, ritual practice, and the quiet conversations that happen between saints, cards, candles, and the turning of the seasons or the night turning into the rising of the sun. What I wrote is not doctrine, nor is it meant to replace the wisdom of traditions. This is a working path. Take what resonates with you, leave what does not. If the saints, your guides, ancestors, or even your own intuition ask you to add a prayer, or a gesture, a little somethin' something to what I presented here, then, by all means, do so. If you are moved to share what ever unfolds in such a manner like that, my door remains open and I am listening, as always.
