About Saints and Tarot

I have been working on yet another book. This one is about the major arcana cards and saints. It is based off decades of research, discovery and personal experience, the Golden Dawn Magical Tarot and Saints. Because. I. Can. And. Did. This book does have a companion course that will be offered this summer as an act of devotion. More on that later.

This current creation is from lived prayer, study, ritual practice, and the quiet conversations that happen between saints, cards, candles, and the turning of the year. What I wrote is not doctrine, nor is it meant to replace the wisdom of traditions. This is a working path. Take what resonates with you, leave what does not. If the saints, your guides, ancestors, or even your own intuition ask you to add a prayer, or a gesture, a little somethin' something to what I presented here, then, by all means, do so. If you are moved to share what ever unfolds in such a manner like that, my door remains open and I am listening as always.

Nevertheless, each saint is paired with a major arcana tarot card or two as a form of spiritual communication. This is meant as guidance with integrity, done from love and respect. Hence, approach this as if it were a meditation that yields newly found clarity, awareness or evolution, that is being revealed through symbols and lived sanctity. It is a contemplation of the hidden order by which souls are transformed. Empowered. Evolved.

I suggest when viewing this, do so with the lens and perception of one who has embarked upon the Fool’s Journey. You know?.....the one who has experienced these cycles of shadow and virtue within the Major Arcana, and the witness of a Saint whereas arriving at the last tarot card of the World, knowing this is not a triumph, however yet is another threshold. This is a tool laced with wisdom and insight from a different perspective, a different love, a different spirituality, a different empowerment and definitely a different kind of evolution of ones soul.

My post here are meant to be approached not as a system to be mastered, however as a path to be walked. The Saints do not call for imitation, however for honoring the integrity, devotion and loyalty to one’s own path. The Tarot does not demand prediction, but presence. Together, they offer a mirror in which the soul may recognize both its wounds and its radiance. What the Tarot reveals as sacred law and what the Saint reveals is a lived threshold crossed through devotion, sacrifice, and grace. I have broken down these pairings with my discoveries and experiences over the decades as I gathered such information to reflect details like the spiritual connection, angelic overlay, suggested opportunities and lessons, feast days, patronages, offerings, prayers, spells, affirmations, gemstones plus so much more whereas it is meant to be used, not admired.

What I am sharing here, and will do so every month over the coming year happens to be the third section of my book. Each month is held by a particular Saint and Major Arcana Tarot Card(s) using the Golden Dawn Magical Tarot. Quite different than the 22 pairings of the Saint and Major Arcana Tarot Card that I have also done and is the beginning of my book. In this version of the Saint and Tarot are joined together as they form a devotional avenue for the year on a monthly level with a steady, reliable, and deeply practical guide offering such knowledge as spell/prayers, astronomy, elements and other aspects within daily life that is useful because spiritual work does not end when the candle goes out. It lingers, it settles, it asks to be tended, much like the Saints themselves.

The best way in which to get the most of all this information is to take into consideration what each has to offer. May it serve as a sacred mirror that helps one recognize where one is, who one is evolving, becoming, and what inner (and symbolic) allies are available to assist in walking forward. This is not dogma or really divination, however conscious companionship with transformation. Like blending archetypal psychology (Tarot) with devotional, relational, and intercessory spirituality (Saints). Think less about prediction and more about alignment, transformation, and conscious evolution.

I know it is late March, nevertheless I waited for the Spring Equinox and St. Joseph’s day to launch this as the fire, the passion of this runs deep. Do thy will with what is presented here. Any questions, feel free to ask.

This months, March 2026 version of Tarot and Saints kicking off with XIV. The Emperor, XVIII. The MOON and Saint Joseph if you care to read it.

Open to feed back. Be kind always.
